What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your computer or mobile device by your web browser when you visit a website. They allow websites to remember user preferences, maintain secure login sessions, and perform essential functions.
How I Use Cookies
The cookies used on this site are strictly limited to essential operational features and convenience functions.

2. Commenting Cookies (Optional)
If you choose to leave a comment on a blog post, you can opt-in to saving your name, email address, and website in your browser. These exist purely for your convenience so you do not have to re-enter your details for future comments.

comment_author_email_* | Remembers your email address when leaving a comment. | 1 year |

3. Administrative / Login Cookies
These cookies are set only when accessing the WordPress administration dashboard. Regular visitors browsing public pages will not receive these cookies.

wordpress_sec_* | Secures the administrative session against token hijacking. | 15 days |
Analytics & Non-Essential Tracking
I do not use third-party analytics cookies (such as Google Analytics).
Site statistics are calculated using Independent Analytics, a self-hosted analytics solution running locally on my server. It records aggregate page visits without dropping persistent cookies or tracking your activity across other websites.
How to Manage or Disable Cookies
You can control, block, or delete cookies at any time through your web browser settings (e.g., in Chrome, Firefox, Edge, or Safari).
Please note that blocking all cookies may prevent certain site features—such as leaving comments or saving your cookie preferences—from functioning properly.
